Kids want to know they are special and unique. That you see them and love them. They want to know you know and appreciate the little things about them like their favorite colors, animals, objects and activities.
Do they like motorcycles or robots? Flowers or birdies? Biking or baseball? Lady bugs or butterflies? Music or dance? Red or blue? Pink or purple?
With a custom piece of art you can capture your child’s loves on wood or canvas, personalize it even more with their name, and hang it on their wall for years of enjoyment.
I have worked with many parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and family friends over the years to create the perfect piece of art for their little loved ones, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. I’ve been able to form friendships with many of my customers, and by the end of the process many times I feel as though I know the kids they are ordering the paintings for personally.
Many customers contact me with a general idea of what they would like for their child’s painting (ie: colors, objects, name, and theme), and once a few emails are exchanged, I then begin the brainstorming/sketching process. I usually sketch between 5-10 different layouts and then the customer is asked to choose their favorite design.
After the canvas size and orientation is chosen, as well as the favorite design, I get to work hand-painting the unique art piece that will decorate their child’s room.
Upon completion, I spray each painting with a high-quality protective varnish to seal in the acrylics.
I am not always able to accept new orders that need to be completed in a short time frame, but if you’re willing to wait awhile, I am always open to inquiries.
If you’re not interested in my particular style, but are interested in a personalized custom piece for your child’s room, I would love for you to check out Etsy. There are countless talented artists on their site that would be more than happy to work with you to create a keepsake for your little one.
I have uploaded many of my favorite paintings I’ve done over the years if you’d like to check them out. Hopefully they can inspire you to create something special for your child’s room. Please feel free to ask any questions you might have about the paintings or process. If you see a painting you love, I would appreciate you pinning it to Pinterest. Someone else might love it and be inspired too! Thanks so much for reading.
There are many more paintings I’ve done that I could show you, but hopefully this gave you an idea of my style and what can be done. I also love to match bedding or décor that you already have in your child’s room. Again, please feel free to ask any questions that you might have in the comment box below.
Thanks again.
