I absolutely love a mix of industrial and farmhouse style in my decorating. I don’t feel quite at home in houses filled with matchy matchy décor, where everything looks perfect and planned out. Give me old and new mixed together, with tons of different textures, with furniture and belongings that force your eyes to wander all over the room because they are each special in their own way. That’s a home where I want to spend time with my friends and family making memories.
I put together a gift guide to give you an idea of some great home décor I use and enjoy in my home in hopes that it will help you find that “perfect something” for someone you love and appreciate. Or maybe, a gift for yourself. Go for it.
And, of course, I’ve included tons of storage options because I never feel like it’s possible to have too much. The great thing about giving storage containers as gifts is that you can fill them with all kinds of goodies (load baskets, jars, and bins up with chips, nuts, popcorn, crackers, candies, etc.), and it makes a great presentation for not a ton of money.

This is an adorable little container for storing and organizing at a great price. A perfect place to throw your keys, loose change, wallet, phone, or whatever when you walk in the front door.
If you are giving it as a gift, fill it full of lotions, chapstick, fingernail polish, or hair ties.
It would be a great organizer for the bathroom as well (think makeup or jewelry organizer).
This piece is ideal for kitchens that don’t have a lot of cabinet storage space available. I can think of a few people in my life that would love this rack to show off their coffee mug collection.
I don’t know what it is about arrows that I love so much, but I have them all over my house, and also in the homes that I renovate and decorate. I had so many arrows in the Mulberry House, that a couple of people asked me “what the deal was” with all of the arrows everywhere. I just think they’re super cute-especially when they’re made of weathered wood.
If there is anything on this list that I would emphatically encourage you to buy, it would be these storage containers. I use them everywhere in my house. I fill them with books, shoes, toys, toilet paper rolls, school papers, hand towels, my art supplies, and cleaning supplies. The list goes on and on. You just can’t beat the price either. These are way super duper strong, versatile, stylish, and just plain great.
I think these would make great teacher gifts too. Just fill them with snacks and goodies at Christmas time or the end of the school year and your child’s teacher can use them as storage or organizers in their classroom when the snacks are gone.
I can’t emphasize enough how great these guys are. Buy them. You’ll love them.
Do you have someone in your life that loves to bake? I have several. I think these babies are going in my shopping cart straight away to give as gifts. If you buy the bins on #5, you can put these measuring cups in the bin along with flour, sugar, baking soda, etc., and voila! Gift package complete.
I’m sure many of you have already made signs like these since they’re so popular right now, but if you haven’t made one yet, or have no interest in making one, but love the look of these signs-here you go! I like the simplicity of this one, and of course I like the arrow. Sweet little gift for someone you love.
The gift giving options for this one are absolutely endless. Fill it with gloves, a hand shovel, and packs of seeds, and give it to your favorite gardener. Give it to your kiddos stuffed with coloring books, crayons, markers, glue, or scissors. We have a very similar one, and my kids use it everyday.
This is also another great container for holding bathroom accessories: brushes, combs, hair ties, flat iron, hair dryer, etc.
So many possibilities…
I have these kinds of little storage systems all over my house and they are so wonderful for helping me stay organized.
I use these storage baskets all over my home as well.
I have baskets just like this one for each one of my children, and whenever they have paperwork that comes home from school that I want to keep and scrapbook later, I throw it in their basket.
I use these bins for hat, glove, and shoe storage as well.
They’re also great for organizing cleaning supplies.
This would look adorable in the kitchen or bathroom. So much more fun than regular plastic soap containers.
Surprise! Arrows again. I think the design on this pillow is so cute. My couches are loaded with pillows with zippered covers that can be changed periodically. I’d buy this one in a heartbeat. It’s cute, comfortable, and best of all-washable!
I love the look of this clock. I’m always drawn to scales at auctions and antique stores. I would sit a little potted plant on top and place it on a kitchen countertop. Great gift.
Hooks are one of my favorite ways to organize a room. I think just about anyone would love to receive this sweet little rack for organizing coats, hats, robes, bags, towels, etc.
